Women’s Strawweight Bout Slated For UFC Fight Night 79
UFC officials recently announced that Seo Hee Ham will meet Cortney Casey in a women’s strawweight bout at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Alves.
Ham (15-6) has not fought since falling via unanimous decision to Joanne Calderwood at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale on December 14th.
Casey (4-2) was on a three-fight winning streak prior to her UFC debut but had that streak broken in that fight as she lost to Joanne Calderwood via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 72.
UFC Fight Night 79 takes place on November 28, 2015, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. The entire event will air on UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, Benson Henderson takes on Thiago Alves in a welterweight contest, while the co-main boasts Jorge Masvidal vs. Dong Hyun Kim. Also, Mirko CroCop vs. Anthony Hamilton and Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alberto Mina will be the other two bouts that will complete this four fight card.
