UFC 171: Dana White’s Pre-Fight Media Scrum & Fighter Staredowns

The UFC is finally picking up the pace on a so-far lackluster 2014 with this Saturday’s UFC 171 from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

Featuring a trio of pivotal welterweight bouts with dire title implications, No. 12 Hector Lombard takes on No. 6 Jake Shields, No. 2 Carlos Condit faces No. 11 Tyron Woodley, and No. 3 “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler faces No. 1-ranled Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks for the vacant UFC welterweight title belt.

Needless to say, the 170-pound title scene is getting a complete overhaul in one night. That could make it one of the most action-packed events of the year, and not surprisingly, UFC President Dana White showed up to express his excitement.
