Watch Conor McGregor Rush Jose Aldo After UFC Fight Night 59

Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo is all but official after UFC Fight Night 59, as “The Notorious” smashed Dennis Siver in the second round of their headliner. The odds always favored the Irish star, and the TKO finish was somewhat inevitable. McGregor was promised a title shot against the long-time featherweight boss, and has really bypassed the biggest stars in the division to get there.

Cub Swanson, Frankie Edgar, Ricardo Lamas and Chad Mendes are all arguably the top contenders, although they have all tasted defeat against “Scarface” at least once. Check out the video of the first Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo showdown:

“I don’t even know what I said,” McGregor admitted after the fight. “I was trying to fuck with him. Tell him to get the spit bucket and spit-shine that belt because I’m coming for it.”

“He’s just a joke and a court jester to me, so I laughed at him,” Aldo responded. “I’m not really impressed.”

So while we wait for the official announcement of Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo, a few questions stand out; where will the fight be held, is McGregor getting the shot too early, or is it time for the Brazilian to relinquish the belt to the younger and hungrier “Notorious” one?
