Wanderlei Silva & Stitch Duran Vow To Fix MMA

It seems as if two estranged UFC stars have teamed up in hopes of fixing the sport in which they love, which would of course be mixed martial arts (MMA).

Former longtime UFC and Pride veteran Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva has been in quite a war with the UFC ever since he supposedly fled the scene of a Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) random drug test ahead of his UFC 173 scheduled bout with Chael Sonnen.

Silva went on to get fined, and he actually received a lifetime ban, leading the Brazilian to go on a tangent, bashing his former employers, and he hasn’t let up yet.

“The Axe Murderer” seems to pop up every month or so with a new video, usually talking about his opinion of how the UFC treats their fighters, or more recently, how he could prove how the UFC fixes fights. His lifetime ban has since been removed, but it’s clear that Silva is not too happy with the current MMA landscape.

The Brazilian’s latest video has him teaming up with veteran cut man Jacob “Stitch” Duran, who has been in headlines quite a bit lately after his controversial release from the UFC. The UFC stated harsh comments about the Reebok deal as the reason for Duran’s release, but “Stitch” claims that he has said nothing wrong, and the MMA world was thrown into an uproar.

Duran is probably not too happy with the UFC lately either, and he and Silva have apparently began an MMA revolution, as it seems as if they plan to fix what they believe is wrong in the sport. It’s difficult to fully understand Silva, but it seems as if he is talking about respect, or there lack of from the UFC in his opinion.

“The Axe Murderer” has actually been sued by the UFC recently, but it seems as if nothing can hold one of MMA’s most polarizing stars back these days.
