Simply cannot wait to see this fight, it’s gonna be a WAR!

UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will look to make the second successful defense of his title in 2015, as he is set to square off against Carlos Condit at UFC 195 this Saturday January 2nd. The event will be the first card of 2016, and what a way to get the year started. Both ‘Ruthless’ and ‘The Natural Born Killer’ are known for their exciting styles and finishes, making this a dream fight for any MMA fan.

With Lawler and Condit running the main event for the evening, there’s also an intriguing heavyweight battle between Stipe Miocic and Andrei Arlovski in the co-main event. The former heavyweight champion ‘Pitbull’ is looking to extend a win streak that last saw him batter Travis Browne in a fight of the year candidate to make it seven straight, and Miocic is looking to prove himself as title material and build off his record breaking TKO win over Mark Hunt.

An interesting match up featuring Albert Tumenov and Lorenz Larkin should also provide some quality viewing.

The UFC 195 open workouts went down today in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it was vintage Carlos Condit who stole the show. Check out the videos:

Could UFC 195 provide an early front runner for fight of the year 2016? Most probably it will, but how will the champion fare against arguably the most dangerous fight at 170 pounds right now? We are yet to see the after effect of Lawler’s war with Rory MacDonald at UFC 189, although he undoubtedly looked incredible in that fight.
