Oft-arrested controversial Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari returned to the ring for his first match of 2015 against Ismael Londt in the main event of last night’s (Sun., August 23, 2015) Akhmat Fight Show from Grozny, Chechnya, Russia.

Despite some lacking conditioning, Hari put on a show. He was close to scoring a first round knockout with a massive straight right a mere 15 seconds into the bout, and the fight devolved into a wild slugfest as both seemed to tire. Both fighters swung wildly and landed, and even though Hari was dropped and bloodied by a crushing right hand from Londt, he was able to come back shortly thereafter.

The ‘Golden Boy’ uncorked a monstrous right hand that sent Londt sliding across the canvas, prompting the referee to call the fight off due to the four knockdown rule. As the fight was called off, Hari’s team and supporters came rushing into the ring to celebrate his victory.

With nine wins in his last 10 bouts, Hari will now move to face Catalin Morosanu at November’s GFC Fight Series 5. Watch the full video of his latest victory via Bloody Elbow above.
