Urijah Faber vs. Frankie Saenz Joins Holloway vs. Stephens At UFC 194
UFC 194 gets hit with a duo of huge fights in the lower weight divisions, adding to the already jam packed card set for December 12. in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. ‘The California Kid’ will drop once again to bantamweight in search of the start of a new win streak. He most recently lost a decision to Frankie Edgar in Manilla. He’ll face Frankie Saenz in the evening’s action, who is currently unbeaten at 3-0 in the UFC with his biggest win coming over Iuri Alcantara.
A recently reported bout between Max Holloway and Jeremy Stephens was also confirmed for the huge winter card, as ‘Blessed’ looks to make it eight on the bounce against a resurgent ‘Lil’ Heathen’ who is fresh off a TKO over Dennis Bermudez.
The card, on paper at east, is incredibly strong. As long as the curse that shall not be mentioned doesn’t intervene in the meantime, we should be set for one of the greatest cards of all-time, let alone 2015.
With the addition of Urijah Faber vs. Frankie Saenz and Max Holloway vs. Jeremy Stephens, UFC 194 is 11 fights strong with two championship bouts in the main and co-main event slots. Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor duke it out for the undisputed featherweight strap at the top of the card, with Chris Weidman‘s middleweight title tilt with Luke Rockhold in the secondary spot.
