UFC Fight Night 41 Post-Fight Press Conference

Fight Night 41 went down tonight in Berlin, Germany, at the O2 World, and proved to be a pretty strong card for the respectful European fans. The preliminary card was definitely one of the most exciting I’ve seen on European soil, and provided some barn burners and slick finishes. Who said you need huge names to make a card good?

The main card went down next, but came second to the more exciting FP section in my books. A schoolyard headlock finish (wrongly announced as a RNC), a controversial decision for Sean Strickland ended Luke Barnatt’s unbeaten spree, CB Dollaway edged Francis Carmont for a decision and Gegard Mousasi choked Mark Munoz in the opening round of their headlining attraction.

As the UFC’s global expansion continues, it seems that the international level has certainly stepped up. The local favorites put in great efforts, and managed to make the event a joy to watch. UFC president Dana White is present for the media in Berlin, Germany, in the wake of the evening’s festivities, as he hosts the official UFC Fight Night 41 post-fight press conference.
