UFC Fight Night 44 Bonuses, Attendance & Live Gate Figures

The UFC’s first event in San Antonio is in the bag with it turning out to be a pretty solid card. Now that the fights have finished (Checkout the results here & here), the events gate and attendance along with the bonuses have now been revealed.

Following the event UFC officials revealed the gate drew $728,358 and the event had a total of 9,227 fans in attendance.

The cards bonuses were also given out after the event at the post-fight press conference, as usual they were $50,000 each. The first “Performance of the Night” bonus went to Ray Borg for his first round submission over Shane Howell on the night’s preliminary card. Borg submitted Howell with a rear naked choke to take his first win inside the Octagon.

Brazil’s Carlos Ferreira picked up the next POTN in his UFC debut for his shocking first round submission over former TUF winner Colton Smith.

Not surprisingly, “Fight of the Night” went to the events headliners Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens for there clash to finish things off. Both men gave it their all in the battle and finished the event off on a high note.
