UFC Releases Never-Before-Seen Footage Of Conor McGregor’s 13-Second KO Of Jose Aldo
One of the biggest and most important chapters of Conor McGregor’s story was his 13-second knockout win over Jose Aldo in 2015.
The victory marked the first defeat of Aldo’s career in the UFC, as well as McGregor’s first undisputed title win under the promotion’s banner. It was quite a stunning way for a rivalry that lasted over one year to come to an end, and shocked many spectators across the world. Ahead of McGregor’s return at UFC 246 later this month, the UFC decided to share some never before seen footage of the knockout.

McGregor hasn’t fought since October of 2018 when he was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov. Now, he’s looking to get back on the road to the title, and his first stop is against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246. The fight will take place at 170 pounds, and opens up the door to some very interesting options should McGregor emerge victorious.
