UFC Rankings Update: McGregor Rises, But Mighty Mouse Tops P4P List
After a weekend that consisted of three fight cards and over 30 fights in three consecutive days, the UFC rankings have seen quite a shakeup.
Perhaps the most notable changes came from the highlight of the weekend, UFC 194, which went down on Saturday December 12, 2015 from Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the main event, Irish superstar the “Notorious” Conor McGregor knocked off former pound-for-pound king Jose Aldo to become the undisputed featherweight champion.
McGregor rose up nine spots to become No. 3 amongst the pound-for-pound best while reigning flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson assumed the No. 1-spot. Former light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones also returned to the rankings after being stripped of his title last April.
Also at UFC 194, Luke Rockhold dished out a beating on Chris Weidman to steal the middleweight title. Rockhold took over at No. 8 on this list, while Weidman dropped eight spots.
