UFC 116 Steroid Tests

The Nevada state athletic commission has released a report that the fighters that took part at UFC 116 which took place on July 3rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, have all tested negative for steroids. 
This is good news for fight fans as some of the fighters have a steroid history, Chris Leben tested positive when he fought Michael Bisping and was given a six month suspension.  This was Leben second time fighting in about 2 weeks where he scored an upset third round submission of Akiyama.

Slated for UFC 119, Matt Serra is set to face Chris Lyttle. These two fighters crossed paths back in 2006 when they faced off at the Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale. Matt Serra pulled out a split decision win that night and earned the right to face one of the world’s best P4P rank fighters in George St. Pierre for the UFC welterweight Championship.
