Pride veteran Cyrille’The Snake Diabate has signed a four fight deal with the UFC
The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is the world’s largest MMA promotion and LowKickMMA provides daily UFC news and exclusives. Beginning in 1993 the UFC introduced organized and sanctioned MMA to the United States. The promotion set out with the goal of finding the ultimate fighting champion pitting all disciplines of martial arts against each other in a tournament-style with a champion crowned on the night.

Silva owns 15 of his 25 career wins by knockout or TKO some of his victims include Griffin, Franklin, Irvin, Leben and Marquardt while, Main has a record of 12-1 from which 8 of his fights have come by submission, most of these submissons came in the first round.

With Vitor Belfort having to pull out of UFC 112 due to a shoulder injury, the UFC were starting to sweat on a replacement. Speculation even loomed that a match with current UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva may even be pulled from UFC 112 altogether.
Today however, UFC officials announced that Demian Maia will be replacing Belfort and the fight will still be for the Middleweight belt. Maia is coming fresh off a victory at UFC 109 against Dan Miller.
