The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is the world’s largest MMA promotion and LowKickMMA provides daily UFC news and exclusives. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos has gone 1-3 during his tenure with Strikeforce with his last two fights ending early, falling by TKO to Jordan Mein and tapping out to a Nick Diaz armbar.
The Brazilian striker recently addressed his hopes for his next opponent in Strikeforce’s Welterweight division, Paul Daley. Daley is also 1-3 in his Strikeforce career, dropping his last three fights, with his latest loss coming at the hands of Kazuo Misaki on March 3.

Earlier this week Quinton “Rampage” Jackson took to twitter to vent. The former UFC Light Heavyweight champion said that he would only fight one more fight for the UFC. At the time it seemed as if perhaps it was Jackson taking his loss to Ryan Bader especially hard.
Well, time has not healed the wounds and Jackson again took to twitter to voice his displeasure with the UFC, asking for his outright release from the promotion.

The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV has been a staple of mixed martial arts for 7 years, and in that time frame we’ve seen pretty much everything. Chris Leben entered our hearts with some smack talking, glass punching, and a little bit of pee. Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz brought the term “bad blood” to a whole new level. Since dropping from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight, Tim Boetsch has gone on a three fight winning streak defeating Kendall Grove, Nick Ring and most recently Yushin Okami.
The victory over Okami was an impressive come from behind win for Boetsch. Okami looked to be on his way to victory when Boetsch came out guns-a-blazing to start the third round, eventually finishing the fight 54 seconds into the round.
Following the victory, Boetsch mentioned that he would be interested in facing Dan Henderson,
One thing that almost everyone in MMA can agree on is the fact that the refereeing and judging leaves a lot to be desired. The ten point must system that was adopted from the world of boxing jsut doesn’t seem to cut it in the world of MMA, but the solution to that problem doesn’t seem to be an easy one. One of the ideas that has been floated is a point system based on half point increments and not full points.

In November 2011 Dan Henderson returned to the UFC after spending some time in the Strikeforce organization. During his stay in Strikeforce he captured the organization’s Light Heavyweight title, defeating Rafael Cavalcante by TKO. He followed up that victory with another TKO win, stopping Fedor Emelianenko in the first round. When he stepped foot in the Octagon in November he and his opponent, Mauricio Rua delivered one of the best main events in UFC history going toe to toe for the full 25 minutes
