Today brought some bad news for MMA fans that were hoping for a Carlos Condit versus Jake Ellenberger rematch as the UFC announced that Ellenberger would be facing Martin Kampmann in the main event of “The Ultimate Fighter” 15 finale. Oddly, it was Kampmann who handed Condit his last defeat, beating the current interim Welterweight champion via split decision on April 1, 2009. UFC Announces three Canada events for 2012; Jose Aldo to headline July 21st Calgary card

UFC President Dana White, alongside director of Canadian operations Tom Wright, hosted a Press Conference today at the Flames Central in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to announce a series of upcoming events. Had an error not been made, the UFC would have been scheduling their first Flyweight title fight. Instead, they are in a spot where they are booking a rematch between Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson.
