Today’s UFC 147 weigh-ins took place at Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. This card features a reworked main event pitting  Wanderlei Silva against Rich Franklin in a rematch of their UFC 99 bout.All fighters made weight with the exception of John “Macapa” Teixeira, who came in at 150 pounds instead of his agreed upon 145. The weigh-in results are official for tomorrow nights UFC on FX 4 card, and all but one fighter came in on-point. Gray Maynard will look to regain a high spot in the stacked Lightweight division against Clay Guida in the main event. Here are the full results:

A spate of training-related injuries and a repeatedly altered fight card has lead to a flurry of complaints from fans who bought tickets to see a very different promotion from the one that has materialized.

UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta announced today that Alistair Overeem will not be scheduled to fight for the UFC until reinstated by the NSAC.  Currently suspended for nine months with elevated Testosterone levels,  Overeem could possibly be eligible to fight in late December. When asked about a possible year-end fight for Overeem, Fertitta quoted the following on the subject:
“That’s speculation. It’s in the NSAC’s hands.  The UFC can’t be presumptuous.” – via ESPN.com
