UFC 152 no longer set to feature JDS vs. Cain Velasquez II

Fans anticipating the highly awaited rematch between UFC Heavyweight champion and Cain Velasquez will have to wait for the time being. Dana White announced last night on Fuel TV’s post-UFC 147 show that the event, originally scheduled for UFC 152 live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, will now be pushed back to a yet-to-be-determined date. When asked about the next Heavyweight title bout, White confirmed the change by stating:
“Yes, that fight will happen. I don’t know when and I don’t know where.

The attendance and post-fight bonuses have been announced for tonight’s UFC 147 from Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Bonuses of $65,000 were awarded for Submission of the Night, Fight of the Night and Knockout of the Night to Rodrigo Damm, Rich Franklin, Wanderlei Silva and Marcos Vinicius. UFC 147 Results Recap: Rich Franklin emerges victorious over Wanderlei Silva

UFC 147 is in the books from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Rich Franklin versus Wanderlei Silva delivered a good bout, although it may not have been what the Brazilian fans were rooting for.
The first round began with Wanderlei Silva landing a hard right followed by an exchange. Franklin grabbed a kick, then controlled the action against the cage by landing shots. In the second round Franklin continued to stalk his opponent. Wanderlei reversed the action and dropped Franklin, landing some ground-and-pound.

UFC on FX 4: Attendance, Suspensions and Dana’s reaction to Guida vs Maynard

UFC on FX 4 took place at Revel Atlantic City, New Jersey. UFC reports a sell-out crowd with 4,652 spectators. No totals for gate receipts have been reported as of this writing. The Main Event turned out to be a disappointment for most fans, including UFC President Dana White who tweeted a string of complaints about the fight as it was unfolding:

UFC on FX 4 Results Recap: Gray Maynard defeats Clay Guida via Split Decision

UFC on FX is over from Atlantic City, New Jersey and the main event found Gray Maynard delivering an important win at Lightweight. The fights featured a lot of technical fighting, with decisions comprising 3 out of 4 main card bouts.
Lightweight contenders Clay Guida and Gray Maynard stayed on the feet for the first round, with Guida using his trademark movement to bloody Maynard’s nose. The Carpenter appeared to be just out of range of all Maynard’s strikes in the opening stanza. The second round started
