Ranked at No. 3 and rising, new UFC light heavyweight title contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson bulldozed his way to the biggest win of his career when he bludgeoned hometown favorite Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson en route to a first round stoppage in the main event of tonight’s (Sat., January 24, 2015) UFC on FOX 14 from the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm.

The win not surprisingly earned “Rumble” the card’s first $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus. Johnson will also complete his amazing career resurgence with a perceived shot at champion Jon Jones later this year.

All told, it was announced at the event’s post-fight press conference that four “Performance of the Night” bonuses were awarded for UFC on FOX 14.

The second bonus was given to co-main event winner Gegard Mousasi, who demolished aging legend Dan Henderson after “Hendo” injured his left eye.

The third award went to Octagon newcomer Makwan Amirkhani, who clearly deserved recognition for his eight-second stoppage of Andy Ogle after an early flying knee and follow-up punches.

The fourth and final bonus just went to veteran Kenny Robertson, who picked up his third straight win with a solid first round knockout of Sultan Aliev.
