UFC Fight Night Poland: Ultimate 8 Headkick Knockouts
With the return of famed striker Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at this weekend’s UFC Fight Night 64, the mixed martial arts (MMA) world can’t help but get nostalgic about some of the best headkick knockouts in UFC history.
Cro Cop will return, ironically enough, against Gabriel Gonzaga at this Saturday’s (April 11, 2014) card from the Krakow Arena in Poland, the very same man who used his own move to knock him out with of the greatest headkicks of all-time back at UFC 73 in 2007.
Along with some absolutely vicious (and now historic) kicks from the likes of Anthony Pettis, Rashad Evans, Edson Barboza, Lyoto Machida, and Anderson Silva, Gonzaga not surprisingly earned a spot high up on this list. “Napao” will try to re-create that magic in the main event of UFC Fight Night Poland, but Cro Cop will most likely be on the lookout for it after seeing his purported UFC contendership go up in smoke in their first fight.
