UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley Results
LowKick MMA will be bringing you UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley results throughout the night (Sat. 19th. Sep, 2020) from the UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada
Taking main event honours, former interim welterweight titleholder, Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington clashes with former undisputed 170-pound kingpin, Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley in a bad-blooded affair between two former American Top Team staples.
Covington makes his first Octagon appearance since his UFC 245 mian event loss to defending champion, Kamaru ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Usman. For Woodley, the St. Louis, Missouri native looks to rebound from a second straight defeat, the most recent coming at UFC Fight Night Vegas in May – in a unanimous decision loss to number-one contender, Gilbert ‘Durinho’ Burns.
Our main event also takes place at 170-pounds, with future Hall of Fame inductee, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone making his third Octagon appearance of the year, hoping to rebound from defeats to ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor in January, and a rematch loss to Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis in May, respectively.
