UFC Fight Night 59 Embedded: Episode 1
The UFC Embedded Vlog series is normally reserved for the promotion’s pay-per-view (PPV) events, but the amplified stakes of this Sunday’s (Jan. 18, 2014) UFC Fight Night 59 Boston, where Conor McGregor will earn a featherweight title shot with a win over Dennis Siver in the main event, has necessitated the debut of UFC Fight Night 59 Embedded.
In today’s first episode, McGregor leaves his hotel in frigid cold Boston to sign some autographs for his fans looking to capitalize on his stardom, elaborating on why he doesn’t care if they profit off of his signature.
McGregor appears in a few promotional spots to blast Siver and gets a haircut before heading to ESPN headquarters for an interview on Sportscenter, where he appears to have a sizeable cut on his nose.
Meanwhile, his lesser-known opponent Dennis Siver arrives at the airport, discussing the magnitude of the bout and his preparation for it. The German kickboxer notices that he and McGregor are on the trash cans in Boston, so he decides that’s where he wants to stick McGregor.
