Teixeira is the second oldest UFC champion. Thanks to his 5th-degree black belt in Kajukenbo, he has been able to secure the light heavyweight title belt. This will be his first time defending his light heavyweight title.

Procházka has been undefeated in the UFC with 28 total wins. His mission will be to strip Teixeira of his light heavyweight title while maintaining his undefeated winning streak.

Co-Main Event: Valentina Shevchenko vs Taila Santos

Valentina Shevchenko is age 34, stands at 5”4’, and weighs 125 pounds with a reach of 66.5 inches. The Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian professional mixed martial artist has won 22 fights, lost 3, and had no draws.

Taila Santos is a Brazilian mixed martial artist challenging Shevchenko. She has had 19 wins, 1 loss, and no draws. Santos stands at 5”5’, weighs 125 pounds, and has 1.5 more inches in reach than Shevchenko at 68 inches.

Shevchenko is the most popular female fighter in the UFC and holds the Flyweight Champion Title. She will face off against Taila Santos as she defends her champion title.

Santos is #4 on the Flyweight rankings and her mission is to climb to the top if she can successfully take down Shevchenko at UFC 275. Santos will have to bring everything she has got, especially since Shevchenko is a former Muay Thai fighter.

Main Event Top Fight: Weili Zhang vs Joanna Jędrzejczyk

Weili Zhang is a 32-year-old Chinese mixed martial artist. She stands at 5”3’, weighs 115 pounds, and has a 63-inch reach. She won 21 fights, lost 3, and does not have any draws. Zhang is a former UFC Women’s Division Strawweight titleholder.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk is a 34-year-old Polish mixed martial artist that competes in both the Flyweight and Strawweight UFC women’s divisions. She has 16 wins under her belt, 4 losses, and no draws. Jędrzejczyk once held the UFC Women’s Division Strawweight title like Zhang.

Both fighters faced off at UFC 248 back in March 2020. Zhang won by decision in round 5. Will Jędrzejczyk redeem herself from the UFC 248 loss or will Zhang document a 2nd win against the Polish fighter? Zhang overpowers fighters with her strength while Jędrzejczyk has more technically calculated blows, which will make for a powerful fight in the ring.

Final Thoughts

The UFC 275 Main Card is buffed up with a lineup of great fighter bouts. Procházka will work to prove that underdogs are strong against veteran Teixeira. Santos is looking to climb the ranks in the Flyweight Division, but she has to take down Shevchenko first. Two former Strawweight Champions will have a long-anticipated rematch to settle some beef.
