Taking main event status, an undisputed lightweight title fight between the defending champion, Charles Oliveira, and the #1 ranked former interim gold holder, Dustin Poirier.

Sao Paulo submission ace, Oliveira attempts his first defense of the lightweight title following his championship coronation back in May via a second round knockout win over Michael Chandler to clinch the vacant crown.

For Poirier, the Lafayette native attempts to clinch the undisputed lightweight crown at the second time of trying, and enters off the back of a splendid 2020 which brought with it a pair of victories against former two-weight champion, Conor McGregor.

In the night’s co-headliner, the undisputed bantamweight championship is up for grabs as two-weight gold holder, Amanda Nunes returns to the limit for the first time in two years as she welcomes the #3 ranked contender, Julianna Pena in her first title surge under the promotion’s banner.

Nunes’ last outing came in March of this year back at UFC 259 where she stopped Megan Anderson with a first round triangle armbar win to secure her second featherweight title defense.

For Pena, the Washington native returned to the winner’s enclosure back on ‘Fight Island’ in January where she stopped Sara McMann with a third round rear-naked choke.
