UFC 193 Heads To 54,000 Capacity Stadium In Melbourne
The UFC is certainly looking to ramp things up in late 2015, as a string of awesome title fights are set to end the year with a bang. One particularly exciting event is UFC 193, headlined by Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit for the welterweight title, it was also confirmed yesterday that Mark Hunt and Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva were on a collision course for the very same Melbourne, Australia based card.
Until today, the venue was not announced, and boy, it’s a good one. Check out the announcement by Etihad Stadium on Twitter:

The Doclands Stadium is a 59,000 capacity multi-purpose arena that has hosted Australian football, soccer, Speedway GP’s and many other mainstream sporting events.
The MMA and UFC fanbase of Australia has been growing rapidly over the recent years, with numerous successful events on the shores down under. With a growing clientel and now a stadium show in Aus, fans hoping for UFC 194 in Dallas Cowboys Stadium might be looking for discount plane tickets come November.
