In news that should surprise absolutely no one, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey picked up the first $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for her devastating 34-second KO of Bethe Correia in the main event of last night’s (Sat., August 1, 2015) UFC 190 pay-per-view (PPV) from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The second $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus went to longtime veteran Demian Maia, who continued to inch back up the welterweight rankings, ending Neil Magny’s impressive seven-fight win streak with a submission victory in the featured prelim bout.

“Fight of the Night” was deservedly shared by Shogun Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, who threw down in the back-and-forth co-main event that was a fitting rematch of their 2005 Pride FC classic. Rua won that first match by decision, and he also took this one home on the judges’ scorecards in Brazil.
