UFC 190 Betting Odds: ‘Pitbull’ Is Massive Underdog

vice bethe650

UFC 190 is set to go down in the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil this coming Saturday (August 1st, 2015). Women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will look to settle the beef with her arch rival Bethe Correia in the main event of the evening, and ‘Rowdy’ is predictably the heaviest favorite on the card. We’ve grown accustomed to the only ever UFC 135-pound women’s champ having the biggest gap in the betting line against her adversaries, it is both a credit to her pedigree and also a big deterrent at the betting office. ‘Pitbull’ would become the biggest UFC title upset winner in history if she topples Rousey.

Mauricio Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira meet for a rematch of their Pride classic in the co-main event, with both ‘Shogun’ and ‘Lil’ Nog’ in need of big wins this could be a bonus winner at the top end of the card. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will face off against Stefan Struve, with the big difference here being the size and youth advantage of the Dutch ‘Skyscraper’.

Bets to stay away from: Well, obviously placing your money on Ronda Rousey would be the best way to guarantee a win, it wouldn’t be significant enough to warrant your time. Correia’s underdog status could make you some serious bank, but only if you are willing to put your money where your mouth is.

Bets to run with: Soa Palelei could be a solid bet given the fact that Anotonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva has been blasted by Frank Mir and Andrei Arlovski in his last two fights. The closest you’ll get to even odds is a parlay on Hugo Viana and ‘The Hulk’.

Overall these odds don’t scream ‘grab the wallet’, but there’s some interesting matchups to ponder.

My personal hitlist:

$50 on Leandro Issa gets you $105 return

$50 on Nordine Taleb will see a $93 return

Parlay £200 on Viana and Palelei for a $199 return
