UFC 187 Open Workouts Video

UFC 187 open workouts video from Las Vegas, Nevada

UFC 187 is tantalisingly close now, as May 23rd is finally just days away. The promotion returns to it’s Mecca in Las Vegas, Nevada for the blockbuster PPV (pay-per-view) card, and features two huge headlining title fights. The top of the card is marked by the start of a new championship reign, as Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson compete for the recently vacated 205-pound title.

‘DC’ and ‘Rumble’ will do battle to decide the future of the division, whereas in the middleweight title tilt we have a blast from the past hoping to overcome young lion who currently owns the division. Vitor Belfort will look to become the third two-division champion in UFC history, but faces a huge mountain in the form of Chris Weidman. ‘The All-American’ has made a habit of beating Brazilian contenders and champs during his reign, and ‘The Phenom’ has shown that age is but a number in his 2013 three-fight streak.

Lightweight hot property Donald Cerrone will take on late Khabib Nurmagomedov replacement John Makdessi on the main card, in a fight that will surely decide the next contender to Rafael Dos Anjos’ recently claimed 155-pound title. Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and old buddy Travis Browne will throw down, in a bout that screams knockout.

As much as names and stars don’t make cards, and we know that now, a double title headliner with as much appeal as UFC 187 doesn’t come around often.
