UFC 185 Post-Fight Bonuses: Rafael Dos Anjos Headlines Four $50,000 Winners
With newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos stealing the show with a dominant five-round decision win over former champion Anthony Pettis in the main event of tonight’s (March 14, 2015) UFC 185 pay-per-view (PPV) card from Dallas, Texas, it’s hardly a surprise that “RDA” took home the first $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for his shocking title win.
Newly crowned women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk understandably earned the second for her dominant finish of former champion Carla Esparza in the co-main event.
Four $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonuses in total were handed out tonight, with preliminary card headliner Ross Pearson winning the third for his huge second round knockout of Sam Stout.
The fourth and final “Performance of the Night” bonus went to Beneil Dariush, who dominated dangerous striker Daron Cruickshank via submission.
UFC 185 had an attendance of 17,160 for an announced gate of $2.155 million.
