UFC 185: Johny Hendricks vs. Matt Brown Highlights

After losing his welterweight title in a close decision to current champion Robbie Lawler at last December’s UFC 181, Johny Hendricks got back into the win column with a decision victory over a game opponent in Matt Brown at last night’s (Sat., March 14, 2015) UFC 185 pay-per-view (PPV) from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.

“Bigg Rigg” went back to his go-to skillset of wrestling to take down “The Immortal” at will, mixing in a steady stream of ground and pound in conjunction with stellar submission defense to keep him one step ahead of Brown’s active attempts. It was an impressive if not dominant performance, afterwards which Hendricks called out for the next title shot at the winner of UFC 189’s Lawler vs. MacDonald bout.

There’s a decent amount of time left before that could potentially transpire, and as we know by now, anything can happen in the UFC. For now, check out the highlights of “Bigg Rigg’s” bounce-back win below:
