UFC 183: Anderson Silva vs. Nick Diaz Highlights

Longtime former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva made a triumphant return to the Octagon by defeating a taunting Nick Diaz in the main event of last night’s (Sat., January 31, 2015) UFC 183 main event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although it may not have been a classic “Spider” finish, the all-timegreat did appear precise and accurate if a bit tentative after returning from the brutal broken leg suffered against Chris Weidman at UFC 168 in late 2013.

It’s unclear as to what’s next for “The Spider,” but it could be argued he isn’t quite ready for a title shot in a division as talented as middleweight is right now. Regardless, he made an emotional return with a solid if not jaw-dropping win over Diaz, who somehow thought he won the bout by not doing all that much.
