UFC 178 went down last Saturday night (September 27, 2014) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and featured a night full of heavy-hitting MMA action. Not surprisingly, that resulted in a lengthy list of medical suspensions.

Headlining the list of medical suspensions from UFC 178 are notable combatants Tim Kennedy and Cat Zingano.

After a very controversial bout that saw Tim Kennedy suffering a third round knockout, the American may have even bigger problems. According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Kennedy suffered an orbital bone injury. He is restricted from contact for one month and must receive medical clearance in order to avoid a six-month suspension.
