UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao Media Conference Call Audio

In this audio clip UFC Bantamweight headliner Urijah Faber sounds off about his UFC 149 Interim title bout with Brazilian Renan Barao in Calgary, Alberta. He says that all of his fights have been title fights or fights to get into title bouts, so he has always used a sense of urgency when preparing for his fights. UFC President Dana White is also on hand to address the obvious issue of injuries that cause much changing to this card, but still promises a huge, entertaining events for the Canadian fans. White has high praise for Urijah Faber, stating that he actually asked to fight Barao, who currently possesses a 29-fight unbeaten streak. Faber goes on to promise to deliver for the fans, also touting co-main event fighters Hector Lombard and Tim Boestch, as well as Heavyweights Cheick Kongo and the up-and-coming Shawn Jordan. While not a single original fight is left on the card, Faber does make a great point in pointing out the action-heavy styles that can produce entertaining events for the fans.
