Twitter Reacts To Gegard Mousasi’s Revenge At UFC Belfast
UFC Fight Night 99 went down this afternoon (Saturday, November 19, 2016) from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The headliner featured a middleweight rematch between Uriah ‘Primetime’ Hall and Gegard Mousasi.
Hall authored one of the most spectacular and improbable victories ever in their first meeting a little over a year ago, landing a jumping spinning back kick to the face followed by a flying knee and a barrage of punches. The inhumanly tough Mousasi wasn’t even all the way out from the salvo.
The rematch played out very differently than their first go-round. Instead of Mousasi dominating the first round on the ground, most of the first five minutes was a very competitive kickboxing affair. But as soon as landed a takedown, ‘The Dreamcatcher’ ensured there would be no second frame this time. He pinned Hall to the fence and teed off with ground and pound until the referee stepped in.

Uriah Hall going with the Emanuel Newton "spam the move that worked once" game plan.

Close first round … turns into a quick blowout for Mousasi the second he takes Hall down. First round TKO.

Mousasi stops Hall using the almost identical technique Khabib Nurmagomedov used to smash Michael Johnson.
