UFC Fight Night 99 went down this afternoon (Saturday, November 19, 2016) from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The headliner featured a middleweight rematch between Uriah ‘Primetime’ Hall and Gegard Mousasi.

Hall authored one of the most spectacular and improbable victories ever in their first meeting a little over a year ago, landing a jumping spinning back kick to the face followed by a flying knee and a barrage of punches. The inhumanly tough Mousasi wasn’t even all the way out from the salvo.

The rematch played out very differently than their first go-round. Instead of Mousasi dominating the first round on the ground, most of the first five minutes was a very competitive kickboxing affair. But as soon as landed a takedown, ‘The Dreamcatcher’ ensured there would be no second frame this time. He pinned Hall to the fence and teed off with ground and pound until the referee stepped in.
