TUF 20 Finale: Jessica Penne vs. Randa Markos Full Fight Video Highlights
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 semifinalists Jessica Penne and Randa Markos faced off in a hard-fought affair in the opening main card bout of the show’s Finale last night (Fri., December 12, 2014) from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The bout delivered in a big way, kicking off a solid card FOX Sports 1 and ultimately winning $50,000 for each fighter as the event’s “Fight of the Night.”
Penne was surprisingly able to secure some strong takedowns over well-known wrestler Markos, applying relentless pressure with ground shots while transitioning on the ground using her impressive flexibility.
But Markos, who spent much of the season as the underdog before taking out Tecia Torres and Felice Herrig, showed a ton of heart with her boxing. She nailed Penne with a barrage of uppercuts and other significant strikes and made it a close fight, yet ultimately it was Penne’s grappled that won out in the end.
