TUF 14 – Episode 3 Notes:

-Bisping gets Mayham back after his tire prank in the dressing room by jacking the tires on Mayhem’s car.

-Tempers flare during a Team Bisping sparring session, especially between Diego Brandao and Marcus Brimage.

-The first bantamweight matchup is chosen between Johnny Bedford and Josh Ferguson.

-Knowing he was going to get picked by Team Mayham, Josh Ferguson dedicated a note he wrote just for Johnny Bedford which said “f*** you” and showed it to him during their stare down.

-After Akira’s pranks increase, a bitter rivalry builds between Akira Corassani and Dustin Neace.

-Missing his friends on Bisping’s team, John Dobson makes up his own team with Louis Gaudinot and Josh Ferguson called the “Dead Leprechauns”.

-Team Bisping is aware of Johnny Bedford’s injured right hand after John Dodson of Team Miller supplies his friends the info.

-Johnny Bedford, defeated Josh Ferguson via unanimous decision at 5:00 of round 2.

My two cents on the episode:

-I personally thought the pranks were hiliarious this episode, espicially Bisping taking Miller’s tires from his Dodge. It was tastefully done and Mayhem being the guy he is seemed like a good sport.

-It’s pretty cool how Mayhem is injecting some fun amongst his fighters during training.

-Akira on the show is protrayed as an obnoxious prankster, but I do feel Dustin Neace did overreact a bit over Akira’s pranks. I hope they get a chance to fight each other in the house.

-Johnny Bedford dominated the much smaller Josh Ferguson on the ground and Bedford grinded his way to victory. Not the most fun fight in the house, but a win is a win a and he continues on the show.

Do you guys think the pranks in the house are part of what makes TUF fun? Or do you think the drama is becoming a bit of overkill? When TUF makes it’s way to FOX, what do you think should be done to make it more interesting to you? Drop your two cents in the comment box.
