Total Fight Time In UFC History
It’s amazing the amount of time UFC fighters can log in the octagon in fights that are between 15-25 minutes long. Astonishingly, some of the longest-tenured UFC veterans have logged hours in the octagon.

Rafael dos Anjos(Total Fight Time: 8:41:49)
Rafael dos Anjos holds the top spot for the most total fight time in UFC history. The former lightweight champion has amassed a total time of 8:41:49 in the octagon.
Anjos has been in the UFC since 2008 and has been one of the most active fighters during his tenure. His almost 9 hours in the cage can be credited to his incredible conditioning and fighting style.
The ex champion is known for being a grinder, who out works his opponents and takes them to deep water. At 39, dos Anjos is still adding to his total and could hit over nine hours of total fight tie soon.
Frankie Edgar(Total Fight Time: 7:57:10)
Frankie Edgar is currently holding the second spot on the total fight time in UFC history list with 7:57:10. The former lightweight champion was known for his incredible conditioning and well-rounded skills.
In Edgar’s long fighting career, we never once saw him get tired and was always full speed. From start to finish, Frankie was always full speed ahead and unsurprisingly recorded almost 8 hours in the cage.
He was one of the best fighters of his era and is a unanimous UFC Hall of Famer.
Max Holloway(Total Fight Time: 7:51:09)
Reigning UFC BMF Champion Max Holloway is currently 3rd on the list of total fight time in UFC history. The former featherweight king is known for being one of the most exciting fighters in the history of the sport.
Holloway never shies away from a war and is willing to go all out for an entire fight. He is also one of the most active fighters on the roster, who has a current cage time of 7:51:09.
At 32, Max has a lot of years left in his career. We could very well see him hit 10 hours of total fight time.
Jim Miller(Total Fight Time: 7:11:44)
In his almost 20 year UFC career, Jim Miller holds numerous UFC records. One of his most earned records is being fourth of the total fight time in UFC history.
Miller currently has a total fight time of 7:11:44 since his last fight at UFC 300. The UFC veteran hasn’t announced any plans about retiring, so we’ll definitely see his fight time increase.
Clay Guida(Total Fight Time: 6:59:36)
At number five on the total fight time in UFC history is veteran and fan favorite Clay Guida. The long-haired madman has been putting on great fights for the fans since 2006.
Guida has gone to war with a who’s who of fighters in his 20-year fighting career. At 42, Guida is still going to war in the UFC and adding to his total.
