Tim Kennedy Calls Out Anderson Silva For UFC 206
UFC middleweight fighter Tim Kennedy is in need for his next fight. Kennedy was supposed to fight former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans at next month’s UFC 206 event, but Evans was pulled from the event. This is the second time that the bout between both fighters has been removed from a fight card. Just like the New York commission did, the Ontario Athletic Commission also denied Evans a license for the fight.
Kennedy called out former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva via Twitter to take the fight on short notice just like he did in his last fight against UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 in July in which he lost by unanimous decision.

Following Silva’s fight with Cormier, Silva stated that he was disappointed in the UFC for not giving him an appropriate level of respect for taking the fight, so it appears that Silva is not willing to take this short notice fight with Kennedy, but stranger things have happened in MMA.
UFC 206 takes place in Toronto, Canada at the Air Canada Centre on Dec. 10th. The main card will air on PPV (pay-per-view) while the prelims will air on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. A light heavyweight title rematch between champion Cormier and top contender Anthony Johnson is scheduled to main event UFC 206.
