The Ice Man Files Lawsuit

A lawsuit has been filed by Chuck Liddell to restrict MMA Authentic which is owned and operated by Cage Fighter Inc. from using his image/likeness. In 2007 Mr.Liddell signed a deal with MMA Authentic to use is image on clothing and head wear. That contract has since expired by default as MMA Authenic failed to pay The Ice Man 15% of profits earned.In addition ,Liddell claims that MMA Authentics began selling novelty items and other merchandise featuring his likeness which was not part of the agreement. Mr.Liddell is seeking compensation and is trying to restrict Cage Fighter Inc. from using his name/likeness any further. 

This not the only time Cage Fighter has had issues with top fighters in MMA. In  2008 Dan henderson sued the company for not paying sponcership fee’s. Other Fighters have reported malpractice by MMA Authentic recently however , they have not filed suit as of yet.

Calls to MMA Authenic have gone unanswered.
