Spencer Fisher extends his UFC contract

The always game lightweight Spencer the King Fisher (23-6) has an agreement for a four fight extension to his UFC contract.  Word came from Fisher’s camp that the signatures have yet to be obtained, but there is a verbal agreement between Fisher, and the UFC.  It is looking like Fisher will take on UFC newcomer Kurt Warburton (6-1) at UFC 120 in London England at the O2 arena.  Fisher will be looking for a comeback after losing twice in a row for the first time over his career to Joe Stevenson, and Dennis Siver.

Fisher holds notable wins over Thiago Alves, Aaron Riley, Matt Wiman, Dan Lauzon, Sam Stout, Jeremy Stephens, Shanon Gugerty, and Caol Uno.  One would think  if Fisher could string a well timed win streak together he could be looking at a LW title shot.
