Shogun Rua vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Full Fight Video Highlights

In a rematch of their 2005 Pride FC classic, two light heavyweights in need of a win faced off again when Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua met Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the co-main event of last night’s (Sat., August 1, 2015) UFC 190 pay-per-view (PPV) from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

It appeared as if ‘Lil’ Nog’ was on his way to finishing Shogun early in the bout, but the former champion turned the tables in the last two rounds with, of all things, his grappling and ground control to lock up a unanimous decision win on the scorecards.

Rua appeared rejuvenated in the bout, appearing in much better shape than he has recently and snapping a ton of sharp body kicks thanks to the tutelage of famed Muay Thai coach Rafael Cordeiro. Shogun injured his ankle in the win, but said he would be back to training soon and wants to face another old foe in Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson un the octagon.
