UFC on Fuel TV 2: Will Brian Stann vs. Alessio Sakara be an all-out war?

This Saturday’s UFC on Fuel TV card features a co-main event bout between Brian Stann and Alessio Sakara. Like its main-event counterpart, this fight features two strikers known to look for the knockout early and often. While all the makings for a toe-to-toe war are in place here, Stann believes the opposite may take place, saying the following on an interview on Fuel TV’s UFC tonight:
“If we go toe-to-toe in this fight, I believe I have the advantage. I feel I have more power than anyone in the

Mark Munoz on TRT therapy: It’s cheating

“It’s cheating. I think it’s cheating. I think anything that’s synthetic that you put in your body is cheating. Get it from food, get it from training. That stuff jacks you up when you’re done. For me, I’m a family man, I have kids, I have a wife and I want to be there for them at the end. I think when you take PEDs or anything like that, it cuts your life short. During his stay in Strikeforce he captured the organization’s Light Heavyweight title, defeating Rafael Cavalcante by TKO. He followed up that victory with another TKO win, stopping Fedor Emelianenko in the first round. When he stepped foot in the Octagon in November he and his opponent, Mauricio Rua delivered one of the best main events in UFC history going toe to toe for the full 25 minutes

Post UFC 143: Four different routes for Nick Diaz

Nick Diaz lost a hotly contested decision Saturday night to Carlos Condit. This no doubt has thrown the dynamo for a loop considering he would have had a date with GSP lined up had he taken the win (and the interim title). In fact, he seemed so disgusted with fighting after the way he lost the match that he subsequently retired from MMA. Knowing his history of brash decisions we are only left to hope that he goes back on that plan, and keeps scrapping.
