Just as the announcement came that Chris Leben will make his awaited return at UFC 155 this December, it has been announced that two Middleweight contenders who have met before will face off at the year-end card. Alan Belcher, whose plans to fight Vitor Belfort at UFC 153 fell apart when he found out he had a spinal fracture and Belfort stepped in to fight Jon Jones at UFC 152, will face Yushin Okami in a rematch.

Last Saturday, the main event for UFC 134 between Anderson Silva & Yushin Okami for the UFC Middleweight title was an epic display of pure domination. Whatever gameplan Okami had prior to the fight went out the window and he didn’t stand a chance against Ando. Together with our friends at Compustrike, let’s take a closer look at the stats from UFC 134’s main event.
Anderson Silva landed 43/57 (75%) strikes the whole fight compared to Yushin Okami’s 18/50 (36%). 29 of
