Dana White: I am beyond disappointed in Nick Diaz

UFC President Dana White returned to the United States today after spending time in Brazil filming the upcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” White was probably looking forward to spending some decompressing from his hectic schedule when he returned to Vegas, instead he was faced with Nick Diaz testing positive during his UFC 143 drug tests.
Shortly after the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the news that Diaz had been found to have marijuana metabolites in his sample, the UFC

Kenny Florian: I will be moving and staying at Lightweight

On October 8, 2011Kenny Florian fought Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight title. The bout was Florian’s third shot at a UFC title belt and after 25 minutes it was his third loss in a UFC title fight.
It should be noted that when Florian broke into the UFC he fought in the 185 pound Middleweight division. Florian fought once at the 185 pound limit, losing to Diego Sanchez at the Ultimate Fighter Season One finale. In his next fight he dropped to Welterweight, winning two fights there before dropping

Looking back at TUF 14, could Brandao and Dodson become champions in the UFC?

Nearly seven years ago, a tv show brought the sport of Mixed Martial Arts to the mainstream public. When The Ultimate Fighter season one debuted January 17 2005 it was a big gamble for ZUFFA at the time to venture into the unknown waters of reality television. That crapshoot paid off, gave birth to a legion of loyal fans, and created superstars and champions out of many who appeared on the show. After fourteen seasons, the show that saved the Ultimate Fighting Championship will now start a new chapter in

Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Michael Bisping to coach at TUF 14

Fans of The Ultimate Fighter were disappointed when Chael Sonnen wasn’t able to get relicensed by the California State Athletic Commission. The UFC had originally intended for Chael to be a coach on the show opposite Michael Bisping, but now viewers of the show will be in for a treat. Jason “Mayhem” Miller is no stranger to reality television as he is known through out the world as the host of MTV’s popular show “Bully Beatdown”. In the Hands of the Judges

Last nights episode of The Ultimate Fighter got a lot of people in the mma community arguing.
Should Shamar have won? Or were the judges in the right giving Chris the decision. In my opinion the judges were 100 percent correct, but not because of the many reason people think Chris Cope won, which is better boxing/landing more strikes etc. I think that Chris won because of his ability to defend the takedown which, in my opinion, is just as worthy of scoring points as a takedown itself. This isnt the only

TUF 13 Diary: Episode 8 Recap and Analysis

Sometimes I feel like a broken record when watching TUF. To be honest and I think I could speak for a big chunk of you Lowkickers out there, but the 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter reality TV show hasn’t wowed me. The only guy that really stood out for me was Team dos Santos member Ryan McGillivray. But other than him there hasn’t been a moment of brilliance on the show yet that has led me to believe that we have a bona fide Mixed Martial Arts superstar coming out of this show. TUF in the past

In three weeks time two of the finalists from TUF 13 will square off for a UFC contract at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, headlined by a bout between Clay Guida and Anthony Pettis.

TUF 13 Diary: Episode 6 Recap and Analysis

Where has the time all gone? The month of April has ended and we are now just getting into May. The 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter is getting closer to it’s finale and what a season it has been so far. This hasn’t been the most exciting season in the history of the show, but it’s kind of a refreshing change to see the two coaches respect each other. The fights haven’t been memorable and the cast of fighters extremely predictable, but I’m still curious to see which fighters from the show could emerge
