In front of a group of reporters gathered at UFC headquarters in Las Vegas, UFC President Dana White unloaded on UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and his coach, Greg Jackson. Dan Henderson was forced to pull out of UFC 151 because of a knee injury and Jones refused a bout against substitute opponent Chael Sonnen.White had no kind words for Jones: “The Jon Jones piece of meat f&#*ing thing. When I see him in f&#*ing Toronto, that’s the first f&#*ing thing we’re going to talk

News has broke that the co-main event to September’s UFC 151 featuring Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson is set. Welterweights Jake Ellenberger and Josh Koscheck will square off in the Octagon in a bout of two highly-ranked fighters coming off of a loss. Both looking to get back on track and claw towards the title shot, the fight presents a very interesting dynamic for a division that is currently experiencing quite the logjam at the top.

– Mac Danzig Interview: Talking ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, Training and More (BleacherReport)”Despite being a big Cruz fan, Danzig believes that Team Faber will be able to win. His advice to the contestants is to not get distracted by the drama and remember they are there to compete and to win. Danzig is back with his original trainer, Rico Chiapparelli, who to Mac is the most respected guy in all of UFC. Danzig feels that being back with his old trainer, he is learning again, and that his new training will
Today brought some bad news for MMA fans that were hoping for a Carlos Condit versus Jake Ellenberger rematch as the UFC announced that Ellenberger would be facing Martin Kampmann in the main event of “The Ultimate Fighter” 15 finale. This week Fuel TV will, at least temporarily, remedy that situation as they will offer a
Nick Diaz lost a hotly contested decision Saturday night to Carlos Condit. This no doubt has thrown the dynamo for a loop considering he would have had a date with GSP lined up had he taken the win (and the interim title). In fact, he seemed so disgusted with fighting after the way he lost the match that he subsequently retired from MMA. Knowing his history of brash decisions we are only left to hope that he goes back on that plan, and keeps scrapping.

“The Ultimate Fighter” season 14 in September will be our last. We are increasing our commitment to distinctive, original series that we own such as “Auction Hunters” and “Bar Rescue” which are delivering on our goal to reach a broader audience. Our 6-year partnership with the UFC has been incredibly beneficial in building both our brands, and we wish them all the best in the future.”
In response to the landmark deal between the FOX network and The Ultimate Fighting Championship, Spike TV has released a
