The Strikeforce Grand Prix: Barnett vs. Cormier salaries for the fighters were released by the California State Athletic Commission on Monday, reports MMAWeekly.com.Topping the list were Josh Barnett, who lost to Daniel Cormier, and Gilbert Melendez who won over Josh Thomson by split-decision. Half of Daniel Cormier’s payday was a $50,000 win bonus. Melendez received no such bonus for his win by split-decision. Josh Barnett breaks his hand on Cormier’s head

Daniel Cormier broke his right hand when he knocked out Antonio Silva in September 2011. Last night he broke it again in his Strikeforce fight with Josh Barnett. In fact, he and Josh Barnett fought most of their five-round war in the cage with broken hands as Barnett broke his left hand early in the first round.
