Medical Suspensions from UFC 148, Sonnen and Griffin top the list

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has confirmed with Lowkick.com that 11 fighters from UFC 148 have been suspended for medical reasons. Chael Sonnen and Forrest Griffin who each fought different bouts in the Co-main event, are at the top of the list. Sonnen lost his rematch to UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva by TKO, while Griffin defeated UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz in Ortiz’s farewell bout.

The attendance and post-fight bonuses have been announced for tonight’s UFC 148 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
