Following his big win over the weekend at UFC Fight Night 100 in which he knocked out Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the third round, Ryan Bader is now seeking a title shot. The victory marked the second time that Bader has defeated Nogueira.

Now, Bader is currently riding a two fight winning streak and wants a title shot. The last time that Bader lost came in January of this year against title contender Anthony Johnson.

Bader recently called out the winner of the light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and Johnson, who are scheduled to compete against each other at UFC 206 in Toronto, Canada at the Air Canada Centre on Dec. 10th.

“I’ve been top five for a while now, and I want those big fights,” Bader said. “That’s who I want to fight. I’ve fought everybody in this division and been consistent. I think I’ve won seven out of my last eight fights so I feel like I hit my stride now because I had the momentum after my last loss, I said screw it, I’m just going to go out there and do what I do and not over think it. That’s my mindset, and hopefully, things fall into place.”

The biggest factor in this is how the Cormier – Johnson fight goes. If Cormier wins, then that will mark the second time that he has beaten Johnson and Bader vs. Cormier would be the next fight to make for the UFC. However, if Johnson wins, then you would have to think that Cormier, who has only lost once in his pro-MMA career and that was to Jon Jones, would get an immediate rematch with Johnson. Time will tell what the UFC plans to do with Bader next.
