Ryan Bader vs. Rashad Evans Highlights

Former UFC light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans was looking to shake off the rust of almost two years away from fighting when he took on streaking contender Ryan Bader in the co-main event of last night’s (Sat., October 3, 2015) UFC 192 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, but ‘Darth’ spoiled the longtime vet’s comeback with a mostly one-sided decision.

Effective in his go-to skill of wrestling, Bader was also thoroughly efficient and precise in his striking by nailing ‘Suga’ with a nonstop stream of accurate punches. Evans was taken down on multiple occasions but could not return the favor, and appeared a bit hesitant in unleashing his strikes and never found a home for his power overhand right.

With the win, Bader could be in line for a title shot, but with Jon Jones potentially returning to fight Cormier soon, he may have to face Anthony Johnson first. In the meantime, watch the video highlights of his telling win over Evans above.
