Ronda Rousey: I Wouldn’t Trust Donald Trump With Running My Country

Donald Trump may be making noise in the media with his bid for the GOP presidential nomination. The billionaire and reality TV star is somehow rising up the polls despite his lack of relevant political experience and controversial policies on women and minorities, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping ‘The Donald.’

However, there’s one polarizing, popular female figure that won’t be jumping to Trump’s side, and that is none other than UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

Trump recently spoke up to CNN (via FOX Sports) about his view on women being in frontline combat roles for the military, to which he responded by including Rousey’s name and suggesting that she ‘liked’ him:

“I guess the answer is yes, because they’re really into it. Some of them are really, really good…I know some woman that are just – Ronda Rousey is an example, who likes me…I’d take her on my side as a fighter.”

While it’s not exactly rocket science to choose by far the most lethal unarmed female combat specialist on the planet to be on your side, Rousey suggested to CNN even before Trump’s comments that she would not be voting for him due to his status as a reality TV star rather than a true difference maker in politics:

“I’m not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star to be running my country. I mean, I wouldn’t vote for him. I just really wouldn’t trust the guy with running my country, that’s all.”

So while Trump believes that Rousey likes him, her statement to CNN indeed suggest that quite the opposite is true.

Rousey’s popularity is obviously skyrocketing to all-new levels for an MMA star, but apparently Donald Trump is not going to benefit from them like he apparently thinks. Do you agree with ‘Rowdy’s’ belief that Trump shouldn’t be running America?
