Ronaldo Junior Outworks Felipe Costa in Entertaining Back-And-Forth Contest – UFC Fight Pass Invitational 10 Highlights

ATOS Jiu-Jitsu star Ronaldo Junior added another big win to his resume, securing a decision victory over Felipe Costa at UFC Fight Pass 10 on Thursday.
Junior kickstarted the contest by hanging on Costa’s neck until Costa briefly pulled guard. Both competitors put on a methodical pace before Junior went fishing for a leg lock. Costa successfully defended the attack, sending the match into overtime.

Things went back and forth between the two during the bonus period, but eventually, Junior found himself in the top position and secured two points by passing Costa’s guard. Junior then went on the attack, digging in for a guillotine choke. Costa ultimately fended off the attack and made it back to his feet.

With 60 seconds to go in OT, Junior yanked Costa into an anaconda choke, but Costa defended. Almost immediately, Junior cinched in an even deeper anaconda attempt, but Costa still managed to survive long enough to see the scorecards.

Official Result: Ronaldo Junior def. Felipe Costa via decision.
It was win number 110 for the IBJJF world champion and his 51st by way of submission.
